Introduction Jon Jennings was an assistant coach and scouting coordinator for the Boston Celtics coaching the likes of Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Robert Parish, and Reggie Lewis. He worked for the team in several different capacities for over a decade including as scout/video-coordinator for the 1986 World Champion Celtics. He also served as an assistant coach in the 1991 NBA All Star game in Charlotte, NC. Jennings began his basketball career as a student assistant to Indiana University coach Bob Knight and began his NBA career as a scout and video coordinator for the Indiana Pacers. During his basketball career, Jennings created the highly successful Progressions Basketball Academy which conducted basketball training seminars throughout New England. After his career in basketball, Jennings was awarded the White House Fellowship in 1997. Jennings worked at the White House from 1997-1999 and then again in 2000-2001. Jennings also served as Acting Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs at the U.S. Department of Justice from 1999-2000.
