If you were a pirate, how would you avoid laughing when saying 'poop deck'?

The answer to that is quite simple my friend, i would, quite willingly shoot the un-dead monkey just for sport before swigging from the never endiing bottle of rum i seem to have permenantly glued to my side... that, is how i would avoid laughing when the word 'poop deck' was said,.
