Introduction	I'm from Melbourne, Australia and have been living in Denmark since December 2007. After 2 years of living here without a car, I decided to get a car to shorten my 3+ hour return train trip to work everyday. To my dismay I was not able to simply convert my Victorian (Australian State) licence for a Danish licence, however if I was from another territory of Australia (the ACT) I would be able to simply swap to a Danish licence. This blog is about the struggle through the ludicrous Danish drivers licence system and the need for change, so that foreign nationals who come to live and work in Denmark and who already have a driver's licence do not need to go through this complex drawn out and flawed system.
