| Introduction | "My one regret in life is that I am not someone else." – Woody Allen. I’ve wanted to be a thousand different people. Most of them involve some type of super macho job like a war hero or a position of power like a big-wig attorney. Guns, courtrooms, glory. But I don't stand at attention in uniform or cross-examine crooks. I don't do anything to defeat those with evil intent around the world. On a normal day, the most dangerous enemy I face is a blank screen, a blinking cursor and the unsettling feeling that I don't really matter. God help me. I’m a writer. |
