| Introduction | Formerly known as the River City Dollmakers, the RiverCity Figurative Artists’ Guild is a collective of multi-disciplinary artists who uniquely interpret the human, animal and anthropomorphic figure through the use of mixed media – textiles, clays, organic materials and found objects. The focus of the Guild is to exchange knowledge, cultivate creativity and learn new techniques. We sharpen our artistic skills by participating in workshops, challenges, affiliations with other artists and shows and exhibits. We currently meet the third Saturday of each month starting at 10 AM. There is a possibility that our permanent meeting site will be changing in the near future, so we ask all paying members to check their email for an update on the monthly agenda as to the location of that month’s meeting. If you are not a member, please check our Events page for meeting details. Annual dues are $20 per year. This includes the ability to link your blog/website to our Guild blog page. |
