| Introduction | I am a second-year doctoral graduate student in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Florida with an MPH in epidemiology. I have a focus in biocultural medical anthropology and am interested in how culture mediates inequalities in health. Other interests include political economy, epidemiology, integrative and collaborative research and Latin America. I will spend summer 2010 in lowland Bolivia working on a social network analysis pre-dissertation research project. |
