| Introduction | I've been married for 18 years to my high school sweetheart and blessed with two beautiful boys, ages 9 (Cowboy) and 6 (Itchy). One has special needs and the other has severe food allergies. I'm always researching this, that or the other and finding new ways to attack the hurdles we face. Homeschooling my oldest has, by far, been one of the biggest learning and enlightening personal experiences. I get a charge from helping others when they face the same hurdles we've surpassed and I have a 'take the bull by the horns' philosophy on advocacy for the boys. With all of that seriousness spiraling around us from time to time, humor and virtual escape are my two outlets. I have a tendency to find humor in EVERYTHING and love living in the moment...as long as I can cackle about it. |
