Introduction Without any conceivable merit- whatsoever, I used to be proud of my "stir-fry" and spaghetti. Well sketti as I like to call it, because it isn't really spaghetti. You know true spaghetti - made from scratch & simmered all day full on vegetable marinara loaded with the season's finest veggies. No it was from a jar, well a can actually. Looking back I see what a journey I have been on inside my own kitchen over the past five years. Four of which I spent slaving over recipes from various sources like Rachael Ray 30 min meals, Bon Apetit and most importantly Epicurious.com. I always felt like a cheat, not a real cook because I was borrowing from other people and hadn't the slightest clue how to look into my pantry and throw something together. You see that is where the real talent lies. I felt I was coming up short even though I was hitting home runs with every meal I made. I kept slaving away reading and making someone else's creative masterpieces, that is until recently when I discovered I have a natural, or maybe learned talent with salads. Now, I want to share my creative salad masterpieces with the world or anyone who is willing to look at my blog.
