| Favorite movies | I can probably count on one hand the number of movies I've seen in a theatre since becoming a mother. I try to catch up when they're released on tv, but my bedtime is so early that even watching a good movie after the kids are in bed is a rare feat these days. Still, I'm a sucker for just about any romantic comedy. I'm a happy ending girl after all! |
| Favorite music | When my kids are in the car, I listen to contemporary Christian music. When I'm having a little Bailey's on the rocks after dinner, I like anything mellow. And when I'm running with my Ipod, I turn up the volume on all the songs I would never let my kids listen to! |
| Favorite books | The Bible. I read all the time from just about every genre there is but nothing will ever compare. Some other favorites I've been recommending lately include Blue Like Jazz (and everything else by Donald Miller), The Hiding Place, 6 Ways to Keep the Little in Your Girl, Traveling Mercies, The Middle Place, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Cutting Stone, Eat the Rich, The Gift Of An Ordinary Day, and Unbroken. |
