| Introduction | I was born in Belgium and came to the US in the mid sixties. Since moving to the US I lived in Virginia and New York City before settling in Pennsylvania. I graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (VPI) with a bachelor of Architecture and have worked in the field of architecture as a construction administrator ever since I graduated. I started making cards in the 70's and have never stopped. I use my architectural background; as well as ideals that “less is more” and “simplicity is elegance”, as the design basis for my cards. Over the years my style has evolved and although my favorite media is the use of stickers, today I use a variety of media from stamping to paper collages to die-cutting. I am always on the lookout for different products as well as found items that I can incorporate into my card making and rarely use just one media per card. |
| Interests | Although I have many interests the two main ones are reading and card making. |
| Favorite movies | My movie of choice is original "Fantasia" from Disney; which introduced me to both classical music and the idea of visualizing music. The sequel "Fantasia 2000" is a close second. |
| Favorite music | To everyone's dismay I love what is commonly known as soft rock, easy listening or elevator music with some country western and new age sounds thrown in for good measure but disco and classical music are my favorites. |
| Favorite books | Although my reading varies, I am partial to anything by Ayn Rand's with the top three being "Anthem", "The Fountainhead" and "Atlas Shrugged". |
