| Introduction | My name is Peggy and this blog will chronicle my life in 2011 as I commit to exploring, implementing or reintroducing myself for a brief time period to a new life practice or a long forgotten ideal – thus one ‘experiment’ a week throughout the rest of this year. The purpose is simply to enrich my life, learn some new things, strengthen my connection to the planet, and heck, maybe even lose some weight in the process. What I anticipate is that some practices will be incorporated permanently into my life beyond the one week experiment. And I know some things will only last the week. I will be satisfied with whatever results come forward at the conclusion of each weekly cycle. I do hope that this year long journey will bring reflection, inspiration, joy, peace, education, gratitude, a healthier body and a clearer mind. I also know it is inevitable that I will experience moments of frustration, loss, sadness, confusion, discomfort and challenge. I am ready (am I?) for it all. I hope that readers will find my story interesting, funny and enlightening. Let the experiment begin! |
