| Introduction | I named my blog Angels at Our Shoulders because of a talk given by Elder Jeffrey R. Holland at the 2008 General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He spoke of angels being sent from our loving Heavenly Father to give us comfort and protection in times of adversity and difficulty. In these troubled times it is so very comforting to think that there are angels - either mortal or heavenly - who are sent to help the Lord take care of us. I appreciated the timing of this talk and I know that it was a message from God for me at a time when I needed it the very most. I need to make sure that I can be an angel for someone in this difficult and frightening world. |
