Introduction	We live in Idaho where my husband works on my dad's ranch. I used to be an attorney, but now I'm a mom. I also manage one of Idaho's largest private foundations on a volunteer basis. I don't miss being a lawyer, but I do miss going out to lunch with my friends! I started a blog to share our son Clyde's journey as an infant born with a cleft lip and palate. It seemed the best and easiest way to share his progress and explain to people his surgeries. He came through all of that so well and then we had Alice Gertie, so blogging morphed into our family's shared scrapbook.
Interests	Our family loves to spend time outdoors. Clyde loves hitting things with hammers, reading books, and hanging out with his daddy. Alice Gertie loves Clyde so much! She loves running around and eating dirt. Ben likes to fish. I like to make things and read books.
Favorite movies	Cinema Paradiso, Il Postino, A River Runs Through It, Dirty Dancing, and many many more
Favorite music	bluegrass, jazz/blues, old country (70s and before), 80s pop, and I really like a couple of my kids' CDS sadly (Bareneaked Ladies "snacktime" and the Putumayo Folk Songs for Kids)
Favorite books	all Dickens, all Willa Cather, I read all the time... just read The Book Thief which was great

When you hesitate before hitting snooze on your alarm clock, are you being lazy?

I don't have an alarm clock anymore. The kids wake me up and if I hit them I don't think it's lazy, it's mean.
