| Introduction | I've been interested in aviation for 43 years. A modeler at 14 and a Private Pilot at 17. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering at Parks College of St Louis University, I went on to become a USAF Fighter Pilot flying the F-4 Phantom in Europe. I then entered the Aerospace Engineering field at McDonnell Douglas/Boeing Corporation as a Liaison Engineer on the F-15, F-18, and AV8B aircraft. I have also owned a 1952 Super Cub for 21 years which I had rebuilt while serving in the Air Force. Then, while working 24 years as an airline pilot I designed and flew turbine powered model aircraft before taking an early retirement to pursue the field of Unmanned Aviation. In more recent times I have become involved with Unmanned Aerial Systems(UAS) having attended conferences and assisted student competitions. Please see photos of some of my most recent accomplishments. |
