Introduction I love hats, fascinators, hair accessories and anything I can put on my head. My passion for hat brought me to London where I learn millinery from Mrs Rose Cory, a retired royal milliner who used to make hat for the Queen Mother. My short stint in London means I have learned only the basic from Mrs Cory and I am saving very hard so that I can be in London end of this year to learn more. By day, I am a teacher. I spend all my available free time designing and crafting hair accessories. Sadly, this free time diminishes as teaching job is more than 12 hr work day. My recent love is veiling and I am making many vintage style pill-box hat with veiling. I am pleased to say that they are very popular and I am finding it hard to keep up with the numerous custom order I received each month. Sadly, my day job keeps me very busy and I have to be selective on the custom order I accept. This blog is about my journey in hat-making, my ranting of what or who irks me and/or things that add a smile or make my fingers tingle. It is a 'monologue', not a conversation. If you like my blog, read on. If not, please move on.
