| Introduction | Kuzuzangpo la from the magnificently beautiful Land of the Thunder Dragon, Druk Yul (aka Bhutan). This summer, I am enjoying the privilege of living in Thimphu, Bhutan as an intern with the Royal Government's Gross National Happiness Commission (GNHC). I am currently a student at Harvard Kennedy School, a candidate for the Master in Public Administration in International Development. Professionally, I am interested in advancing development policy making by learning ways to integrate indicators of happiness into development discourse and practice. My goal is to place the true well-being of humanity and society squarely at the center of the meaning of development.
