| Introduction | Born in a small fishing village on the English Channel coast of Cornwall, England, I went to sea in the British Merchant Navy at the age of 16 as a navigation cadet; the sea appears to be in my blood. Along with my First Mate Lavinia, our retirement dream has always been to cruise the oceans in our own boat. We began our travels on our Kadey Krogen trawler from Sarasota, FL in February 2013 and are currently cruising in the Caribbean.
