Introduction	I created Rockstar Tan a multi-award winning self-tanning and professional range in 2008.Unable to ever take a tan naturally [I am literally transparent-I blame my dad's genes] I had tried every fake tan on the market but none came close to giving me a realistic color that didn’t smell, dehydrate my skin or give an uneven fade. I knew there was a huge void in the tanning market at the time for a tan that combated all of these problems while also having natural, Organic based ingredients. After tirelessly researching a tan that was like no other, I finally found a leader in the Chemical Engineering field in the USA that could formulate exactly what I was looking for. After much persuasion [I mean literally turning up on his doorstep uninvited] he agreed to create my own tanning line. As the Irish are the biggest buyers per capital of self-tan in the world [I know right?!], we still have so much to learn about getting the tan 'look' right. It all boils down to the fact that the main ingredient in tan, DHA is extremely volatile., and so easy to get wrong. But with a little TLC and knowledge you can get the perfect realistic glow without a streak in sight.
