| Introduction | I always believed I had it in me to be a "domestic goddess," but I began to have my doubts when I set my microwave on fire back in college. I gave up on the idea completely when I blew up a turkey just hours before expecting my in-laws over for dinner for the very first time. I have been forced to lower my expectations (to say the very least), but the desire of my heart has remained the same - not to be a domestic goddess, but the godly wife and mother that I believe the Lord has called me to be. |
