Introduction	I moved from Phoenix to Tucson in 1999 to attend the U of A where I hoped to become a physical therapist or a nurse. When I saw the vast amount of physics classes I would need to take my senior year...that hope changed quickly. I am now a teacher working at the School for the Deaf and the Blind here in Tucson, and have just begun my fourth year of teaching this Fall. I have just completed a Masters degree in the field of Visual Impairment. My husband Reed is an engineer in training. We met at a church dance and decided we liked each other. We spent every day together after that and the rest they say is history! We were married January 4, 2003 in Mesa, Arizona. We just welcomed our first child into this world December 3 and she is perfect and such a blessing. Despite our current location, we are NOT desert dwellers at heart in the slightest and hope to move to a cooler, more season-filled part of the U.S. in the future, but for now...the desert will have to suffice.
