Introduction Entered the stock market for the first time in October 2008 the Friday before the biggest (at the time) one day spike ever in the Dow. My purchase went up 25% in one weekend. I soon found out that trading stocks wasn't going to be so easy... I ended up losing 6% of my capital after three weeks of trading and decided to mostly pull the plug on real money investing for the time being to learn and practice by paper trading. I want to use this blog to post my trading results - hopefully to simulate some of the stresses and emotions of trading hard cold cash. More about me --> Nearly 40-year-old with two kids and a wonderful wife. Work for myself as a freelance consultant with a successful business. Teach part-time as an adjunct university instructor in a social science field. My late grandfather retired in his 50's because of his investments, so I may have some genetics going for me. UPDATE: Back to day trading with the prop firm account with a focus on an opening gap momo strategy with stocks that gap up or down.
Interests stocks, day trading, swing trading, investing, paper trading, prop trading
