Introduction We began our offshore sailing adventure aboard our 38' sailboat Zephyrus in October, 2004. We set sail from our home port of San Diego, CA, with our sons Scott and Lance along as crew, and sailed 750 miles south, to Cabo San Lucus, Mexico. Since then, we have sailed over 8,000 miles, completing all major passages with just the two of us aboard. We sailed along the coast of Central America, and down to Ecuador. We then sailed back to Panama, transited the canal, sailed through the San Blas Islands, and on to Cartagena, Colombia. From Cartagena, we sailed north to the Bay Islands of Honduras, and into the Rio Dulce River in Guatemala. This blog is is about our ongoing sailing adventures.
