| Introduction | I grew up in a suburb of Chicago and received my Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. I then spent 4 years travelling the country while working on the radar systems of the USAF F-16 Fighting Falcon. In 1992 I went back to school and achieved my Masters in Business Administration from the University of Michigan. I spent the next several years with various Fortune 500 Companies and traveled the world looking at potential acquisition targets. My wife, Ali, and I started Alarca Realty in 2005 to help us build our own investment property portfolio and I left the corporate world to start "flipping" houses. From 2005 to 2010 I personally inspected more than 800 homes and purchased more than 75. Alarca Realty started helping other investors build and manage their portfolios during this time and became one of Charlotte's fastest growing property management companies.
