| Introduction | During my 19 years of India Experience, I strongly feel that I learnt about every type of industry’s supply chain process both in Indian context as well as on the global scenario. My experience of working with diverse projects always gave me a feeling that I am still in a university learning everyday and never felt that I am working. The only difference is, in a job I am paid for learning Vs in a university one needs to pay for learning. My career started with a Hyderabad based, family run, 3PL business as manager warehousing & distribution before moving to work for a large Korean Electronics & Consumer Durable giant at Delhi, as part of its start up logistics team. “It is here I learnt that the efficiency of your Supply Chain and the success of logistics function largely depends on decision making speed". After spending 3 years and tremendous amount of learning, I moved on... 5+ years - BAX Global India 3+ years - DHL India Current - Head of Logistics for a large Indian biz house in for their consumer electronics division. |
