| Introduction | In 2021 I retired after working at a casino for 25 years at the age of 49. At this point my wife and I decided to sell the house, and start our RV adventure. We finally reached FIRE (Financial Independence Retire Early) and decided working just for the house wasn’t worth it. I’ve always had good skills at budgeting, finances, market investing, and working hard towards my goals, and I don’t believe in “get rich quick” schemes. During our accumulation stage we used our working years, simple planning, a little discipline and the correct financial vehicles to achieve our FIRE. In order to help the average person Retire Early and achieve FIRE, I decided to design a blog with a step-by-step guide to Financial Independence which contains articles, plans, and spreadsheets. And best of all it is for free and has all the tools you need to achieve FIRE for yourself.
