| Introduction | My name is Justin, I'm taking this class because it is in my list of prerequisites to transfer to UT. I was born in Germany and moved here when I was about 12. I feel I'm politically neutral, on the political typology quick my profile was under the "post-moderns" which I can't really argue with. I've never voted before, but I hope taking this class will get me to vote intelligently in this year's election. I'd like to learn more about political latency, the time it takes for an idea to notably impact it's intended party, or how many days a situation goes unsolved/unimproved after an action to change it has been implemented. I don't keep up with sports or news so I did poorly on both of the quizzes. On the Texas General Knowledge Exam I missed all except questions 8 and 9 from having attended ACL. On the Texas Political Knowledge Exam I missed 10, 6, 5 and 1. Most of the questions I got right were because of the bits of knowledge I remembered from high school government. |
