| Introduction | I am a stay at home mother to three boys; a 6 yr old, a 4 1/2 yr old, and a 16 1/2 months old. I have been with my husband for 5 1/2 years; married for 2 years. I also have 2 Pit Bulls, a turtle, and a cockatiel. I have been couponing for almost 2 months now. I have always been into coupons, but never stuck with it. I think it was more of 'Am I doing this right?' or 'Is the .50 savings really worth it for an item that is on sale for 2.50?'. When the show Extreme Couponing aired, I really saw how I could maximize savings and really save!! I am not an extreme couponer, but I just want to know that if anything happens; my family will be set. Before I started couponing, I was spending over $150 a month for groceries and sometimes it wouldn't last a whole month. Since I started couponing, my savings started going up and up every week; cutting my grocery bill down to $20 a week!! Over one month alone, I saved over $300 in groceries and household products. I am dedicating my time as not jeopardizing time with my family; to help my friends and family in how to save and maximize all their savings. |
