| Introduction | I am Immanuel's Child. Immanuel has been a favorite "name of God" for a long time, since I learned it means "God with us". I am drawn towards songs that praise with the name Immanuel/Emmanuel. Our Immanuel became even more salient for me after Meredith's death in October and the Christmas season approached. What a gift it has been to know our Lord's presence, in heart and mind as well as through others, through our season of grief. |
