If mud is dirt plus water, what is clay?
Clay is what makes the natural flower pots in my yard. It is strong enough to break the best shovel and tiller. Roots can't seem to break through it unless of course you are talking about weeds, which seem to have no problem. Rabbits seem to like it too.
