Introduction Until 2006, when I was appointed as National Adviser for French, I had been teaching French at secondary and tertiary level for 30 years. Now, with the benefit of the insights I've gained from the advising role, and after a lovely 8 months in France, I'm keen to go back to the classroom and put some of these ideas to the test.
