| Introduction | I am a historian and mother who lives in MA. I've been a misfit forever, fitting into neither my blue-collar origins or my current academic world. In middle age, I have come to appreciate this status. Recently, I decided to return to blogging, but with a shift. I feel a pull to turn inward, to ponder rather than record, to think about what matters to me, and to explore directions for growth or insight. |
