| Introduction | I'm a college junior (I'm stuck in this in between period where I can't transfer yet. Also, this standing is based on a CSU-UC uni system) at Antelope Valley College in California. I have two Associate Degrees in Biological Sciences and Liberal Arts: Math and Science. Field of study wise -- I'm going towards MechE and BME with Pre-Med. Since I'm staying at AVC longer than some students, this blog is going to track my progress through AVC and my transfer to a four-year. The university that I really want to transfer to is MIT. I would most likely be a Course 2-A, BME minor with Pre-Med. After I obtain my bachelor's degree, I will be applying through MIT to Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology Graduate Program in Medical Engineering and Medical Physics with the optional Bioastronautics concentration as a Ph.D.-M.D. student. After completion of a Ph.D., I would like to work for NASA as a medical research scientist for Mars Colonization and for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. |
