| Introduction | I started the blog "The Light Within" to share the experiences that I seek out to have fun, which is possible anywhere and everywhere. All of us have a light within—a bright shine that emerges as we do what we love. It’s contagious; our light can reflect off of others. Although it sounds cliché, I believe that this reflection—this exchange of light between people—makes the world a better place. In order for the reflection to happen, we have to open ourselves up to the people that we meet daily so that every experience, no matter how mundane, can become fun. A cause and effect relationship begins that allows our light to permeate into those we meet. By being positive, having fun, getting to know others, and caring, we can brighten someone’s day—even someone who we have just met ever so briefly. |
