| Introduction | Let's start with the basics. I'm a married father-of-two-boys living in Kent, on the edge of that lovely area of countryside known as the Weald. I like being outdoors walking, cycling, working or generally standing around. I am allergic to big cities, don't like curry and read a lot of books. I wrote this blog for several reasons; primarily to document the daily antics of life with two growing boys (so that I can look back at what I have written when I am old and grey) but also to document the world and life around me. No two days, car journeys or sunsets are ever quite the same - let's describe them while we can. Time, I have read, is 'like an ever rolling stream', always moving, always hurrying onwards. Yet, here's the funny thing, in spite of all the activity not one ripple or eddy in that stream knows where it is going. As with the stream, so with life and so with this blog. I have no idea where life will take me and I have no idea what this blog will become but I intend to enjoy the journey. |
