| Introduction | I am the the alter ego of a medically retired professor from a university in Texas, keeping my mind and self as active as I can in the digitalreal. I am now a sporadic, Ad Hoc Everything: a teacher, 3D content creator, photographer, kinetic artist, and placemaker in Second Life on a shiny-object basis and as my condition allows. I'm here to explore, create, and learn about learning in virtual worlds. I've got a few projects going: Maganda Arts, Yosemite Valley (Forever Wild), the Pixel To Pixel Foundation, and participation in an ethnographical study called "Virtual Worlds, Disability, and New Cultures of the Embodied Self." I also teach Building Tricks classes at Builders Brewery. |
