| Introduction | Hi, I'm Michael, and I have just graduated from The University of Ulster with a Bachelor of Design in Design for Visual Communication. I have such a passion for illustration; it occupies all of my days. I carry a sketchbook with me everywhere and am constantly doodling and sketching. My work is inspired by many things, my day-to-day life, the people I see on my travels, conversations with friends and other design. Two major inspirations in my work are music and fashion, for me life without music is like life without a sketchbook and pen, and it’s often when I am listening to the lyrics of songs that I will get ideas for new illustrations. Current fashion trends usually tend to creep into my work too as I love fashion and always want my work to remain fresh and with the times. |
