| Introduction | Life rarely, if ever turns out the way we plan. If it had, I would have married a man who had a “take charge” personality and could sing, dance and act. Instead, I married a man who has no rhythm, is tone deaf and was perfectly designed by his Maker to be able to show this broken girl unconditional love, becoming Jesus in the flesh in the selfless ways that he loves me. God knows so much better what we need than we do and we’re thankful for that every day! Bri and I met 25 years ago and even though he had to ask me three times to marry him before I finally said yes to my heart, we’re actually even more in love now than when we said, “I Do,” 23 years ago. Like every married couple, we’ve had our ups and downs, but living by three rules has kept us together through it all. We have four incredible kids who give us tremendous joy and keep us on our knees in prayer. Our home is never dull! We’ve dreamt, given up, and are dreaming again, all as a result of God continuing to renovate our lives on a daily basis. This blog is meant not as a place for answers, but a place for journeys to intersect with others, a place to renovate as a community, a place for generations to call home. |
