| Introduction | Although reading seems to be a solitary pursuit, it actually is a relationship between readers, authors, characters and different worlds. More than that, reading can spark a kinship between the most disparate people if they enjoyed the same book, creating an internecine association that transcends all other differences. Because I'm a librarian, it is my mission to connect people with their next favorite book, which in turn will help them link to the rest of humanity (one fellow reader at a time). |
