Introduction Originally from Montreal/Toronto, I came to the United States for law school and have committed myself to work in support of grassroots resistance movement work. I worked with organized undocumented and structurally unemployed Black communities in New Orleans and now support work in St. Louis through civil rights law suits and individual work to get people out of jails and detention. I am also interested in the study of equitable community development and the legal strategies that can be developed to promote more equitable, inclusive, diverse, utopian socialist cities. I am connected to work in Canada and across the world - understanding the interconnected nature of our world and importance of building power and community across borders. I love being outdoors, exploring, and in the sun, having reflective conversations over food and hanging out with similarly committed and passionate people. I hope this blog promotes reflection and resistance.
