| Introduction | Currently living in the outskirts of Gliwice in the south of Poland. I have retired from my job as a Police Officer in North Wales after 23 years. I have grown to love Poland, the language, it's history, the culture and people. About 2 years ago, I decided to explore the possibility of moving to Poland and teach English. I undertook a course in English Language Teaching. I had to radically refresh my memory of English grammar, which for a native speaker, can actually be a steep learning curve! I also appreciate the difficulties in trying learn a foreign language too. I have been trying to learn Polish for what seems like an eternity, and without really progressing beyond basic conversational Polish. I hope by living and working in Poland, my use of Polish language will quickly improve! |
