| Introduction | Amy N. Bambi Wendt has been tattooing since 2006, and she has been actively involved in the body modification world as well as the Minneapolis Saint Paul Artistic community. Her inspiration is drawn from life and the beauty of Minnesota as well as the work of some of her favorite artists: James Gurney, Mucha, Boris Vallejo, Julie Bell, Brian Froud, and Frank Frazetta. As well as working in skin, her mediums include: Oil, watercolor, colored pencils, acrylics, and charcoal. Her favorite subjects are people, animals, dinosaurs, food, anything found in nature, and anything nerdy or whimsical. She has numerous interests, and you'll find her always busy with some new project, whether it’s knitting, hula-hooping, morel hunting, spinning, or sewing. You’ll never find her at work on Monday evenings, since that’s when she plays Dungeons & Dragons. Bambi finds tattooing to be an incredibly grounding, and is constantly being inspired by her clients and friends. She finds it extremely rewarding to work with people and together discover and create something really special and beautiful. " |
