| Introduction | So, you've stumbled onto my poetry blog and you're wondering, "Who on earth is writing all this stuff? I mean, some of it is really nice, but some of it..." Okay, I know, but that's the thing about poetry. It can be inspired by what you see, hear or feel, but also by what you read, watch on TV or hear in a song. It can come from dreams...or nightmares. I simply write it all down...and leave it for the reader to sort out the good from the bad. If it pleases you, fine. If it upsets you…well, it probably upset me, too, when I wrote it. I’ve stumbled through the darkest valleys, but I’ve also seen the breathtaking view from the highest mountains. I share my memory of both. Some of what you read is truth, but some is also the product of my overactive imagination. Some of my poetry contains promises, but some of it contains warnings. Read into it whatever you wish. I’m just happy you’re reading it. :) |
