| Introduction | Hi, I am Shuxin (a shoe that sings, but don't emphasize the g), a 16 year old at Pinole Valley High School. I am part of Forensics Speech and Debate, Interact, Ivy League Connection 2016, Junior Statesmen of America, Marching Band, Tennis, and WE Science. I am interested in business management. For the longest time, I didn't know anything about what I wanted in my career. I always answered with some form of STEM related career even though on a subconscious level, I knew that STEM wasn't for me (as if all the times I fell asleep in a science related class didn't tell me). After much self-evaluation, I realized that the only consistent desire in my life had been to be in charge of something where I am able to organize and create anything I want, particularly when it comes to operations within an organization. I realized this when I gained the secretary position in WE Science, which opened up my interest to business management. Though, of course, this could very well change completely over the next several years of my life. |
