| Introduction | We came here in 2005 with our two daughters. At this time Sandfontein had been very neglected. Luckily not long after we had arrived a new group of young, enthusiastic, nature loving people from all over the world took over the ownership and the Sandfontein Nature and Game Reserve was founded. With this great team behind us we cleaned up the farm, renovated the lodge and brought in new animals. To us this is one of the most magnificent places on earth and we are proud to protect this area and the animals living here creating a new home for so many threatened species. At the same time offering a spectacular place to visit for anyone who would like to experience something special. It's our - and your Sandfontein! |
