Introduction	It was the little pieces of wilderness in town where I found salvation and peace of mind. Beginning with my first love, Kleinstuck Preserve, I simply walked out into the woods and found acceptance, and from there a pulse and gateway to many of life's wonders and mysteries. As an artist, my relationship to the wild is first and foremost experiential, relying on my senses, observation, and instinct. Enriching that experience are the fruits of science.
