Introduction	Aside from a short-lived run for vice president in the seventh grade (which, as you'd expect, was filled with countless heated debates), I haven't had much to do with politics at all in my life. I am now a highschool student, unfortunately clueless in "current events" and such, but I hope to gain more knowledge about these and the workings of our nation during this short summer stint of US Government. According to the handy political ideology categorizer I took, I can be classified as a "Disaffected," who is "deeply cynical about the government" and "alienated from politics." And maybe I am. But after this class? Maybe I won't be.
