| Introduction | The current economic situation and the high costs of day school tuition have converged to create a number of active conversations around the question of “what kind of Jewish education can we afford?” The AVI CHAI Foundation has set up this blog to listen and learn from you about innovative funding solutions to support and sustain day schools as we know them. While many of the conversations about tuition and the economy have resulted in alternative options for a Jewish education, i.e., Hebrew language charter schools, this blog hopes to identify creative solutions for the current day school educational model, which we believe is critical to the ensuring a strong and vibrant Jewish future. |
