Introduction	I'm a southern lady probably born several decades too late. I have an eye for Henri Matisse's cutouts, Romare Bearden's collages and Elizabeth Catlett's sculptures. There's also my palate for prosecco, pinot noir and dark chocolate; my nose for gardenias and the ocean air; my hand for silk and cashmere. And oh yeah, I've got an ear for Jimi's guitar licks, a heart for Billie's blues-filled lyrics, and a soul for the call and response of Miles and Coletrane...never-the-less, I was raised up on the funk of Parliment, the Controversy and genius of Prince and the blue-eyed soul of Teena Marie...then finally when I found my feet on the dance floor, EVERYTHING all came together as acid jazz and house music (All Night Long)! Can you relate?
