| Introduction | Diana Oliva Cave, the founder of Dinner with My Baby and Bazmatazz Productions, has been working in film and video for more than 10 years -- on everything from TV movies of the week to producing Web videos for The New York Times in Baghdad. And she's been cooking since she made her first cheese filled tortilla in her parent's kitchen while living in Mexico City at 6 or 7 years old. Now she is also a mom to almost 2 year-old Balthazar (Baz, for short) and 4 1/2 month old Amelia. Through this new role, she has rediscovered the value of documenting personal moments and her love for cooking. So, while she’s still active in film and journalism, she is also using her talents -- for finding those telling, small moments and helping people open up in front of the camera -- to create unique family documentaries. And she's helping friends figure out what to make for dinner. She hopes they'll return the favor. |
