Introduction	I am an old guy with a love for nature and the serenity of the wilderness . I have been athletic all of my life , but now consider hiking my only sport ! I am an artist and a professional photographer and I make a lot of photos and paintings of my hikes . I am very excited to share these images and any information that I have with you. Most of my hikes are in San Luis Obispo County as I live in Atascadero Ca. However , I hike the Sierras and out of state also . The purpose of this blog is not so much to act as a guide but more to share the beauty I experience on the trail and maybe to motivate those who are not regular hikers , to become so! Every season has it's charm !
